Te all-new Tai series by Equation Leopard Automotive launched its first model, the Tai 3, for pre-sale. Offering five configurations, the pre-sale price ranges from **¥139,800 to ¥203,800**. The BYD Tai 3 is positioned as a pure-electric compact SUV, featuring a unibody design. It comes standard with the "Eye of the Gods" C Advanced Intelligent Driving Three-Camera System (DiPilot 100) and offers an optional Lingyuan Intelligent Onboard Drone System. Deliveries will commence in April.

Exterior Design:

Drawing inspiration from "interstellar rovers," the BYD Tai 3 boasts a closed black grille, parallel daytime running lights above the headlights, and a trapezoidal lower bumper housing the license plate bracket and millimeter-wave radars, with silver accents on either side. Compared to other models in the Equation Leopard lineup, such as the Leopard 5 and Leopard 8, the Tai series embraces a more personalized and playful design ethos.

Additional features include a 12-inch HUD display, and a four-spoke steering wheel with multifunction buttons, as well as rotary controls for drive and terrain modes. Seating is upholstered in leather, with perforated surfaces in contact areas, and offers electric adjustment, ventilation, and heating for the front row. Rear passengers benefit from headrests, armrests, USB ports, and AC vents.

Built on the exclusive EVO intelligent platform, the BYD Tai 3 uses dual-motor all-wheel drive, delivering a combined output of 310 kW. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 201 km/h. The standard version houses a 72.96 kWh LFP battery, providing a range of 501 kilometers under CLTC conditions. Meanwhile, the Drone Edition features a slightly larger 78.72 kWh battery, maintaining the same range.

A standout offering is the "Lingyuan Intelligent Onboard Drone System," which includes a custom DJI AIR 3S drone, dual-mode controllers, a smart docking station, and a 4K roof camera. Integrated apps facilitate drone control, dynamic tracking, dual-perspective shooting, and automated video editing with easy sharing to social platforms.
