Are you tired of permanent mud stains, kid kick marks and screen scratches ruining your brand-new BYD Sealion 7 interior?
Most owners buy universal generic car mats and seat covers, unaware ill-fitting loose parts block foot pedals and damage factory trim over time.
This complete guide sorts all model-tailored Sealion 7 interior protective gear, explaining usage benefits and installation tips to keep your cabin flawless for years.
8 Essential Custom Interior Accessories For BYD Sealion 7
1. Full Coverage Custom Floor Mats
Generic thin mats slide around during driving. Sealion 7 dedicated TPE floor mats perfectly lock into the vehicle’s original floor grooves, blocking mud, rainwater and food spills without shifting.
2. Rear Seat Back Kick Protectors
Kids and cargo constantly scratch rear seat leather. These tailored kick mats cover the full rear seat back surface to avoid scuffs and ink stains on factory upholstery.
3. 15.6-inch Rotating Screen Tempered Glass Protector
The large central touch screen easily gets scratched by keys and toys. Hardened glass film resists fingerprints and cracks, preserving touch responsiveness without interfering with screen rotation.
4. Center Console Storage Organizer Tray
The original hollow console wastes storage space. A Sealion 7 specific divider tray separates phones, keys and charging cables to eliminate messy clutter.
5. Door Sill Anti-Scratch Protective Stickers
Every time passengers step in and out, shoe soles scratch the painted door sills. Clear protective films block abrasion without ruining the car’s original interior style.
6. Trunk Waterproof Cargo Liner Mat
Camping gear, wet sports gear and grocery leaks stain the factory trunk carpet. Custom liners fully wrap the cargo compartment for easy one-wipe cleaning.
7. Cup Holder Anti-Slip Silicone Pads
Loose cups rattle on bumpy roads and spill drinks. Tailored silicone inserts fit the Sealion 7 cup holders exactly to reduce noise and prevent liquid overflow stains.
8. Seat Belt Anchor Trim Covers
Hard plastic belt buckles scratch the B-pillar plastic panels during driving vibration. Soft matching trim covers eliminate rubbing marks and interior rattling noise.
Quick DIY Installation Tips For Sealion 7 Interior Parts
1. Clean all interior plastic and carpet surfaces completely before installing any protective accessories
2. Align each part with factory vehicle contours first, then press firmly to fix adhesive films and mats in place
3. Avoid covering air vents, seat sensors and screen rotation gaps to keep original vehicle functions working normally
4. For a full matching cabin set, order matched model-specific BYD Sealion 7 full interior protection kit with all 8 accessories bundled together.
All these interior parts take less than 20 minutes to install without any special tools or professional help.
Common Owner Misconceptions About EV Interior Accessories
Myth 1: Universal car accessories work the same as model-custom parts
Fact: One-size-fits-all mats and covers leave large gaps, trap dirt underneath and may slide to block brake/accelerator pedals, creating driving hazards.
Myth 2: Interior protective covers will void BYD’s factory warranty
Fact: Non-damaging, snap-on custom accessories do not alter original vehicle hardware and will not invalidate your Sealion 7 warranty coverage.
Myth 3: Tempered screen film reduces touch screen sensitivity
Fact: 9H thin tempered glass designed for the Sealion 7 rotating screen maintains full touch accuracy and does not hinder screen rotation movement.
These wrong beliefs lead many owners to waste money on ill-fitting, low-quality generic accessories that fail to protect their cabin long-term.
